FEATURING THIS EVENT’S GUEST SPEAKERS:

Dianne Teo, CEO, T30 Fitness Training – Sponsored by Entrepreneurial Scotland

Dianne boasts a career in fitness spanning over 30 years and two continents. Her passion is fitness and exercise. Over the years she has gained unmatchable experience across a wide variety of disciplines in the fitness industry. From group exercise classes to teaching students academically, from personal training to delivering physical activity to special populations, from climbing mountains to teaching babies to swim. Her experience is vast.

Dianne worked for the Malaysian Sports Board for 7 years developing several programmes with the aim to tackle obesity, as well as promote and encourage fitness activities within the community. The programmes ranged from low-intensity walking sessions based on weight loss, to intensive training and very specific training for the South-East Asian Aerobic championships.

Whilst living in Asia she was active in charity work and trained a team to climb Mount Kinabalu (the highest mountain in South-East Asia) for charity. She also trained and captained a team of 22 rowers to the semi-finals and finals of the World Dragon Boat Championships in Singapore.

In 1992 Dianne and her family moved back to Scotland, which led to her role as Senior Lecturer in Sports & Fitness at Glasgow Clyde College for a number of years before she went part-time to focus on her business.

Dianne has imbedded charity work into T30 Fitness Training and regularly organises events including 4 huge combo challenges in the UK, with proceeds going to Dementia, Cancer, Children in Need and Heart Disease.

When she is not lecturing students at the college Dianne continues to follow her passion and teaches a variety of group exercise classes for Glasgow Life or is working on her business.

Dianne has tapped into years of knowledge and skills gained through the fitness industry as well as an academic and scientific background, to design, Fatburn Extreme and GameFit under the T30 Fitness Training company which she launched in 2015.

To date, T30 Fitness training has gained 5 accreditations and numerous awards globally. T30 now has 82 Master Trainers and 2200 instructors who are teaching both concepts to 2.3 million participants across 18 countries.
