The Business Development Team is part of the wider Enterprise Team and responsible for the development and implementation of projects and activities that contribute to the sustainable economic growth of Perth and Kinross with a particular emphasis on support for priority sectors. Given the importance of supporting a prosperous sustainable and inclusive economy, the team is responsible for the implementation of economic development projects and activities that underpin the key message of sustaining and enhancing the quality of life in Perth and Kinross and as a location to live, work, invest and visit.

The functions and activities delivered by the Business Development team include:

The Business Development Team works closely with colleagues in the Council’s Investment and City Development teams as well as Business Gateway, Scottish Enterprise, VisitScotland, partner local authorities to support the development of the Perth & Kinross and wider regional economy.
