The infrastructure has been designed, with costed design solutions now in place. In parallel to this, a district heat and power feasibility study for the project has been commissioned by Perth and Kinross Council, Zero Waste Scotland and the project promoter.
It will be delivered in four phases. Phases 1 and 2 consist of a trunk road and service infrastructure to open up the site, along with 800 mixed tenure houses and distribution consolidation centre.
Phases 3 and 4 consist of 800 houses and an academic centre plus 20,000m2 of business land.
